Your history moves with you
Changing journals usually means starting again at zero trades, and that is the real reason people stay where they are. This reads the export your current journal already gives you and turns it into a file Traders Boutique imports — dates, fees, swap and strategy included. It runs in your browser: the file is never uploaded anywhere.
What it recognises
Drop the export in and the columns are matched for you. These are the real column names those tools write — if yours looks different, you can map any CSV by hand.
TradeZella
TraderSync
Edgewonk
Nothing is uploaded
The file is read in the browser tab and never sent to a server. That also means there is no account to create and nothing to delete afterwards.
You get a file, not a promise
The result is a CSV called traders-boutique-import.csv. You can open it, check it, and import it on the data import page — or keep it as a backup of your own history in a format nobody owns.
Two minutes, and the dates survive
Open and close timestamps are the part other importers quietly drop, and without them every holding-time and session statistic is gone. They are mapped explicitly for each of the three tools above.
Questions
Which journals can I move from?
TradeZella, TraderSync and Edgewonk are recognised automatically. Any other tool works too, as long as it can export a CSV: you pick which column means what, once, and the file is converted the same way.
Does my data go through your server?
No. The file is parsed in your browser and the result is downloaded from the same page. Nothing is sent anywhere, which is also why the tool works without an account.
What happens to notes and screenshots?
Text fields such as notes and the strategy or setup name are carried over where the export contains them. Screenshots are not: they live inside the other tool and are not part of a CSV export.
Do I need a paid plan to import?
No. The import page is available on the free plan, within its trade limit. Nothing about moving in is gated.
